For the first time in two whole years since the outbreak of the pandemic, we had the pleasure of celebrating again together this important day for Hellenism around the world. March 25th is a milestone day for Greece and its glorious history throughout the centuries. On March 25th, 1821, after four hundred years of slavery, the Greeks rose up against the Ottoman empire and shouted "freedom or death"! With their struggle, the Greeks demonstrated once again what it is to be brave, courageous, noble, and true to your principles.
Thus, our Greek afternoon school prepared a small celebration to honor all the heroes and the heroines of the revolution who sacrificed their lives, so that we can have a free and strong Greece today.
